Data Protection Objective and Information Security

Healthy Mind has defined the system and the responsibilities of the various parties involved in data protection at company level.

In terms of personal data, Healthy Mind is involved at three levels:

  • – As an employer in the role of data controller
  • – As a developer and distributor of medical devices, in the role of data controller
  • – And possibly, as a service provider, in the role of subcontractor

Healthy Mind is responsible for protecting the data of internal/external employees and customers as well as the personal data that these customers make available to it about their patients or other persons against the following events:

  • – Loss: data no longer available
  • – Errors: incorrect data (e.g. out of date or incomplete)
  • – Inaccessibility: data not accessible at the time of processing
  • – Unauthorised access: data seen by a person not authorised to do so
  • – Loss of control: inability to verify who has seen, modified or deleted data
  • – Processing not in accordance with regulations, guidelines and standards

This data protection policy applies to all processing of personal data by Healthy Mind or by partners appointed by Healthy Mind, regardless of where the data is processed, in France, in and outside the European Economic Area. Healthy Mind is responsible for taking the necessary steps to ensure compliance with this policy.

Use of personal data collected

Applications

When you create an account on our applications, you may be asked to enter an email address, a password, a first name, a last name, a healthcare institution name, an organization name and a registration code. The passwords entered are encrypted and are not known to Healthy Mind. This data is used to protect access to the user’s account. We may also collect data about your activities on our applications.

 

Media

If you are a registered user and you upload images to the website, we advise you to avoid uploading images containing EXIF data of GPS coordinates. Visitors to your website can download and extract location data from these images.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site, you will be asked to save your name, email address and website in cookies. This is only for your convenience so that you do not have to enter this information if you leave another comment later. These cookies expire after one year.

If you go to the login page, a temporary cookie will be set to determine if your browser accepts cookies. It does not contain any personal data and will be deleted automatically when you close your browser.

Use and transmission of your personal data

The storage of the data is done on our servers located in Europe.

How long your data is stored

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This allows us to automatically recognise and approve subsequent comments instead of leaving them in the moderation queue.

For users who register on our site (where possible), we also store the personal data specified in their profile. All users can view, edit or delete their personal information at any time (with the exception of their username). Site managers can also view and modify this information by contacting us at contact@neuromind.fr.

The rights you have over your data

If you have an account or have left comments on the site, you can request to receive a file containing all the personal data we hold about you, including that which you have provided to us. You may also request the deletion of your personal data. This does not include data stored for administrative, legal or security purposes.
